COCOA PRODUCTION : The best cooperatives rewarded today

Africa Sourcing, key trading firm in the Coffee and Cocoa industry, organizes from today, Wednesday 11th to the 14th Of May, a triple reward ceremony for cooperatives in Ivory Coast. Ahead of the opening of this event celebrating the excellence,Ange-Fabien Guéi, the company Purchasing Director highlighted during an interview, the stakes of such an activity which will take place in three (3) different communities namely Niablé (Abengourou), Gohitafla (Zuénoula), and Logboville (Soubré). According to him, these ceremonies fall into his company strong commitment to make farmers more efficient, and to promote quality and sustainable products. « The donations giving ceremony is therefore the fulfilment of the promise made to the Cocoa farming industry of Ivory Coast by the Company. During this reward tour ofthe best cooperatives, we will make important donations and also implement social actions for the benefit of the concerned cities», he said.

Ange-Fabien Guéi explained how convinced he was that the performance of the Ivorian economy and the quality of its cocoa and coffee are closely linked in such a way that priority should be given to farmers’ professionalization through cooperatives, but also through supports brought to their communities in health, well-being, and education matters of their respective families.
